Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use a regular bath towel or cloth/rag to wash my car and apply the wax?
No, you should always use a Microfiber Towel to wash and wax your vehicle. Microfiber towels are a non-scratching cloth and provide the results when waxing your vehicle. I suggest using one damp towel to apply the wax and one damp towel to remove and a third dry towel to buff the wax to shine.
Can I use your wax on a freshly painted car?
You should never use a carnauba based wax on a painted vehicle prior to 60 days after the paint was applied. We carry a carnauba free base wax that is safe for use on a newly painted vehicle but caution should be followed on when to begin using and you should consult the company that painted the vehicle. Our Ultra Violet Cream Wax product is a good starting wax after a vehicle has been painted as it carries no carnauba in it.
How many times can I wash my car before I need to reapply wax?
This is a good question that does not carry a straight forward answer. There are plenty of multiples involved in determining when to apply another coat of wax. Unlike most products our Omega Car Wash Soap does not have as an ingredient any chemicals or additives that would damage or scratch the clear coat or paint when used with a microfiber towel and it does not remove the previous coat of wax. I would say that when your car is washed and dried and doesn't give you that previous shine it's time to wax. I would suggest about every couple of months if it is kept in the garage to every couple of weeks if it sits outside daily to the elements of the sun and mother nature.
What is the difference between Ultra Violet Cream Wax and Titan Cream Wax?
Titan is a 99% carnauba based wax and good for all vehicle finishes. Ultra Violet is carnauba free and works well on all surfaces including new paint and sealer jobs.
What is the Nova Instant Detail Wax used for?
